When creating fire, so much depends upon the spark!

I Run For Water (the Prairie Fire Foundation) was formally started by Mike Stein in 2024. It originated with the idea of running a marathon and raising money for a water project as well as the San Lucas Mission in Guatemala in 2021.

Mission: Providing safe, clean water for all.

To support projects that promote:

  • The Life and Dignity of all people
  • Human Rights and Responsibilities
  • Opportunities for the Poor and Vulnerable
  • The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
  • Solidarity
  • Care for the earth and environment
